NDIS Social and Community Participation

We work with you to develop your community participation plan, to make sure you will be involved in activities through NDIS social and community participation we provide in Sydney and surrounding regions. Whether it’s learning a new skill or being accompanied to the movies beach or zoo, our team will ensure you can continue to do the things you love. Your comfort is our main concern, and so we strive to find the most compatible member of our diverse team for you to work with – this also ensures the success of our NDIS community participation services we provide as you will have the right person helping you out.
Auzability provides customised supports that builds your ability to independently participate in the community. This enables you to participate in training or education, engage in social and recreational activities, or develop skills to prepare for employment. We focus on connecting you with community organisations, groups and clubs through NDIS social and community participation that align with your interests, goals and lifestyle. You will also feel empowered to choose your own activities, including mentoring, socialising, sports, culture, healthy living, arts and volunteering.
How We Create A Safe Space For Community Participation
The team here at Auzability understand how important NDIS community participation is in improving mental well-being, and creating a greater sense of independence and inclusion for those living with disability. Our team will strive to create a list of activities that you feel excited to participate in, as they will be based on your specific needs and interests. We will help you continue to do the things that you love, by connecting you with local organisations that give you the opportunity to participate in a range of activities through NDIS social and community participation services.
These activities can include:
- Training and Education
- Recreation and Sports
- Arts, Crafts and Library Services
- Social Events including group meet ups
Auzability can also help you to meet your commitments by providing transport support. This could be direct transport, coordination of transport-related aids or equipment, or simply assisted travel on public transport. You will also have access to additional community disability services such as in-home care, accommodation, therapy and support coordination. Our aim is to make attending these events and participating in the community easier for you, so that you are able to join in more often.
